I am the Convenor of the Journalism Research Group within the Centre for Journalism and Communication Research at Bournemouth University.

My research interests include:

  • Public service media and PSBs online
  • News reporting of politics and elections
  • News reporting of climate change
  • Science and technology journalism
  • New media history, technology and innovation
  • Journalism education
